
That is why, I was looking for some tips that help us notice miracles and opportunities that surround us all the way. Tips that change our attitude and help us deal with negative situations.
To deal with any negative situation, I suggest you follow these brilliant steps that changed my life:
1 -Breathe:Breathe. Let go. And remind yourself that this very moment is the only one you know you have for sure. ~Oprah Winfrey
When you start to feel bad, angry or sad for any situation happening for you, you are, simply, focusing on a part of a whole image. That is the best time to breathe. Breathe deeply 3, 4 times or even more. When you breathe you provide your brain with oxygen, which helps to have a clear vision and you may notice some information that were not obvious first time.
2 - Accept:
We cannot change anything until we accept it. Condemnation does not liberate, it oppresses. ~ Carl Gustav Jung.
The miracles of life are surrounding you. However, miracles won't show up if you don't give them a space. A rejection attitude is nothing but another pretext to let go. It is, certainly, obvious that to face or fight anything, it is logic to accept and admit, it exists. So next time dealing with a positive or a negative situation, accept it!
3 - Ask how can I turn this to my advantage?
You have done it before and you can do it now. See the positive possibilities. Redirect substantial energy of your frustration and turn it into positive, effective, unstoppable determination. ~Ralph Marston
Well, this question, literally, changed my life! It Is beautiful to accept what life brings. It is beautiful to believe that everyone and everything in your life are miracles. Nevertheless, most people can't keep it in mind such thoughts in front of what they call problems and which Churchill calls opportunities. When you ask yourself: how can I turn this to my advantage? You change the object of you concentration. You are not focusing anymore on your 'problem' but instead on what are going to learn from it. You open new opportunities for yourself. By doing so, you are going to notice the opportunity behind that 'problem'.
4 - Think about someone or something you love:
It is a fine seasoning for joy to think of those we love. ~Moliere
To deal about any negative situation that could happen, the key word is your attitude and reactions. Your attitude and reactions (subconscious ones are so important) will be different as soon as you think about someone or something you love. I have someone that I think of, every time I feel down. When I think about that person; how much love he shares and about his simple gestures, I just feel good. There, certainly, are people and things in your life that definitely make you feel good by just thinking of them.
5 - Laugh:
If you can't make it better, you can laugh at it. ~ Erma Bombeck
Obviously, that sounds strange. Well, I read that laughing on a bad situation is a healthy choice. However, when I am angry or sad, I wouldn't think about laughing. Recently, I was in the middle of an extremely busy day. I was supposed to finish 2 researches within a week and one of them was very complicated and needed a lot of work. There has been a moment, I felt overwhelmed, so what I did?
1- I practiced my favorite yoga position: Shavasana and I breathed.
2- Then, I wondered why not to laugh about it? I started to laugh.
My mind wouldn't be able to figure out why I am doing so. I should be crying, then, instead of laughing. It was strange! And then I had a great thought, my mind was telling me if I am laughing right now, there is, certainly, something very enjoyable happing to me. That attitude changed my day and my life!
6 - Visualize:
Imagination is everything. It is the preview of life's coming attractions. ~Albert Einstein
It is well known that what you visualize you materialize. It is important to keep positive visualization about your whole life. Nevertheless, no one would visualize in front of a negative situation. But it is important that one does. Close your eyes and focus on your goal. Keep in mind the image of you outcome, your dream, of you happy, smiling and successful. If you do so, you will make miracles.
7 - Gratitude:
I would maintain that thanks are the highest form of thought; and that gratitude is happiness doubled by wonder. ~G.K. Chesterton
We are here to be happy and love life. Everything happens for a reason. Everything could be perceived differently. Actually, our mind sees what it chooses to see. That is why, a gratitude attitude could attract more situations to be grateful for. It is, also, a great way to figure out the positive part of the whole image. I am keeping gratitude lists about me, people that I love and things that making my life beautiful. There is, always, another choice. Therefore, be grateful for the moment and cheer whatever brings.
